Precious Gift

Remember the first time when they opened their eyes, remember the first time they smiled at you and gave you the feeling of being a parent, remember the time they called you mom and dad, remember the time when they held your finger and tried walking, remember all this and lots and lots of memories of your baby and his life with baby photo album. Open the album of joy and refresh all those beautiful and priceless memories with written or dreaming stories that you had with you baby. Cherish you baby's life with baby photo album. Babies love to look at pictures, especially when they're looking at things they're familiar with, like family photos making a true story of the family. But it's not wise to let babies hold your precious photos. Here's another idea: give your baby a simple and inexpensive photo that you can hook to the stroller. For making such an album with your own hands you need some tools and materials: hole punch, trading card protectors, photographs, plastic shower curtain ring, plastic link. Use a hole punch to punch a hole in the top of the card protector. Insert photos cut to size. Punch a hole in each photograph to correspond with the hole in the card protector. Use a plastic shower curtain ring which snaps together to fasten the pictures. You'll be able to fit four or five card protectors on one ring. Snap the ring closed firmly. Here is a short story of his/her family to learn and keep in his/her memory. Add a plastic link, found at baby and toy stores, to hook the ring to your baby's stroller. As the baby gets older, you can use the photo ring as a "book" and tell stories about the "characters."
Hey, baby, what's your sign? Whether you believe in astrology or not, it's entertaining to see how you stack up to personality traits that have been written in the stars. Stick down his/her astrological sign and write the baby's name. This will decorate the first book-album. Then they should become its title.
My friend loves this idea. She made individual photo books using inexpensive plastic 4x6 photo albums for her 1st 2 grandchildren when they were very little and they would look at them over and over and over. She especially likes this idea since it provides for keeping the photos attached to the stroller. Keep photos for kids under 2 focused on faces of mom, dad, sister, brother, grandma and so on and the children will be mesmerized for much longer periods of time than with objects.
